Pledge to Re-Green
"I pledge to plant a tree,
To heal Earth's wounds, for you and me.
For the harm we've done, I'll make it right,
Growing green, bringing back the light.
On the Path to Regreen, I'll take my stand,
With each tree planted, lending Nature a hand.
This pledge I take, for a world renewed,
Together, in green, we'll find gratitude."

WHY ECO MONKS?
Looking at the changing seasonal patterns what is striking is the annual weather changes in rainfall, the hotter summers and the heavier snowfalls.
-
Global warming leads to rapid melting of glaciers and polar ice, to more flooding and land-slides and frequent hurricanes. It is believed that the primary cause for much of this is anthropogenic - human activity and consumption which is contributing to ecological destruction and
the demise of natural ecosystems. -
Rapid urban growth has led to loss of valuable agricultural lands and increased pollution, affecting especially our water bodies while also generating excessive waste products. This has resulted in the
destruction of fertile soil essential for crop cultivation and community sustenance. -
The heavy extraction of natural resources through mining of metals and minerals and of oil, gas and coal to meet modern industrial demands in construction and other manufacturing industries, and also the pursuit of luxury items which drives mining for metals like gold, silver, platinum, and precious gemstones, have all led to relentless deforestation, habitat destruction, biodiversity loss, soil erosion, air and water pollution - all contributing to climate change due to excessive carbon

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to restore Earth's beauty and the natural ecological balance through strategic forest planting; to foster environmental stewardship and engage communities to create sustainable, thriving forests. Outcomes of such endeavour will include biodiversity conservation, climate change mitigation, improved water and air quality, and more resilient future generations.
OUR VISION
By making city forests and tree planting integral components of urban planning and development, we aim to create resilient, livable cities with improved air quality, a reduced heat island effect, enhanced biodiversity, and a better quality of life for urban populations.
